Listening to Razzle Dazzle and can just hear Lisa Norman singing away over everybody else…and there were over ten ensemble members singing at the time. I love how powerful her voice is, and it’s just beautiful. I miss watching her perform - bucket loads of stage presence!

Chicago Rocks The Garrick!!
It has now been confirmed by the West End Chicago Facebook page that they are transferring and it is to the Garrick Theatre. I can now stop wearing my mourning clothes and consider opening night tickets! (Date not yet confirmed)
SO happy this is coming back….about as happy as Velma with some cold gin and a hot piano! YEAH!! Chicago rocks the Garrick!!

I think I may be in love...
…with Diana Rigg, which is a problem as she’s 73. There’s no physical attraction, let’s just clear that up now, but she’s just effing fabulous and I adore her. Probably too much.
It does concern and depress me considerably that she was about 58/59 when she played Mrs Danvers…because I did develop a bit of a thing while watching that. Bad, bad times!!

Suitably eventful day at work today...
Found one of our Deli staff crying, asked what was wrong and she said she couldn’t breathe. Cue panic. Got her sat out the back with the First Aid lady who called an ambulance - reaction to pain killers we think. Panic number one over.

I’m considering referring to my house as Manderley, singing ‘Rebecca’ at the top of my voice at our big velux window in what was our attic and shall now be known as the ‘west wing’, and going by the name of Mrs Danvers.
